Brownies speak to my heart. You think I’m kidding, but seriously y’all.. a really good brownie is the BEST.

Believe it or not, my all-time favorite brownies come from a box. If y’all haven’t tried Ghirardelli’s Dark Chocolate Brownies, you are truly missing out. They are nothing short of chocolatey, fudgey, and gooey. You can find them at almost any grocery store or market (I’ve seen them at Safeway, Target, and HEB) or here.
All that to say this, I am on a mission to make a “healthified” version of these Ghirardelli brownies. It has proven to be quite the task, but I am no quitter. Especially when it involves chocolate, specifically brownies.
This recipe only has ingredients that will fuel and nourish your body, including one ingredient that you may not expect… Avocado. Avocado is packed with so many nutrients and is loaded with healthy fats. I bet you didn’t know that avocado can replace oil and butter in baked goods, did ya? I guarantee you won’t even taste it.
